After years of dreaming, I'm finally going to Japan as anything other than a tourist! I'm going to Meiji University to study for one year!! kya~~~!! Definitely looking forward to the year ahead!!

お久し振りです～！

It's been a while ne! I've kinda slipped into lurking for the last few months...sticking to just commenting and fangirling on msn with yygall (who's finally gotten herself a vox! and finally found me! dear, i'll reply u soon la ne)

Uni's been tough (i adapt to new things slowly =S) and trying to cover the whole JLPT2 course by myself is taking it's toll on me...
Just on Monday I missed work cos I was vomitting and had a fever. It's been quite an eventful uni break....btw being sick, getting 4 wisdom teeth pulled out and my birthday (hehe finally can go to unibar!) yygall-chan's been such a dear and told everyone what i want for my b'day hehe. thank you dear!

But then being sick = time at home = more time to fangirl (well kinda XP). I have TIME on repeat on my ipod and on all 3 comps at home and while I love all the songs, I can't get over 'Cry for you' and 'Be with you'. Although it sounds like "cly for you" at times...i dunno i just love this song. ^^

Ok my UAI (University Admission Index) came in this morning and guess what?! Out of 100, I got....

98.05

That means I'll be able to get into Commerce and Arts. Still dunno exactly what course I wanna do but I'll have until January to decide. Perhaps I can go to Japan for exchange in 3rd year. I know a friend at UNSW (university of new south wales) who's going to Keio in March. So maybe I'll be able to go to Keio or Waseda!

So sorry if I'm not making any sense when I'm commenting on everyone's blogs but I'm just ecstatic! Really just over the moon cos the program i used to predict my UAI based on last year's UAIs said I'd get abt 97.3 and so I had such a big shock this morning to find I got over 98!

Michael Jackson

Has anyone ever said Jun, without the hair extensions etc, looks like Michael Jackson?? I'm not quite sure, being a new fan for a bit over a month, but here's a convo my friend and I had on MSN. I don't think she knows anything about arashi or Jun and just popped up after looking at my dp, saying that he looks like Michael Jackson! lol

ME: he's much hotter than michael jackson imo
ME: coincidentally, he's a big michael jackson fan

I'm glad she likes him =D. It's much better than some of the other responses I've gotten...*cringe* I respect others' opinion but it does hurt a little when others diss Jun....(lol especially when it comes from a friend who's a diehard Kame and Bakanishi fan. not that I don't like Kame or bakanishi but they're not my #1)

Anyway, got my HSC (uni entrance exams) results today...did OK but typical me always likes the marks to be higher. lol I'm a perfectionist. Just waiting for my UAI (University Admission Index) to be released...in about 10.5 hours time. Fingers crossed and prays for a good UAI. hontou ni shinpai shiteruyo....

Overload

Gosh there's just so much stuff today! I'm sure everyone knows about April con by now. But then there's also Nino's solo con and talk of Kimi Wa Petto2 (according to arashi@vox) . On top of that, IwoJima's in cinemas in Japan today *sighs*...why do I have to wait till Feb22 to see it in Aus?!?! T__T

If there really is going to be KWP2, I wonder what the plot will be...
and Jun will have momo hair again! (if there is KWP2 of course)  But now he's definitely not as skinny as he was then, yet I'm sure he'll still do such a wonderful job as momo if it is going to be aired

Work

I was looking through the La Tormenta lyrics as I listened and came across the line in Riida's bit:

｢この仕事していなきゃプータロー｣

which i think means 'unemployed unless i'm doing this job'. And that got me thinking. If there was no Arashi and none of them joined JE, what would all of them be doing?  Of course, in the recent MMA talk, they talked about what they wanted to be when they were young. Perhaps Sho in some high position job given the fact that he has a degree? Hmmm...I'm not really sure about the others since I still don't quite know a lot about all of them. What'd u guys think?

Coincidentally, I had an interview today for a casual Christmas job. Never had a job before, dakara tanoshimi ni shitemasu!

Looks like I caught a nasty cold  :S
Been a bit busy lately and so I guess my immune system's down. Had an interview yesterday for uni co-op scholarship (lol not that I'll get it but it was good interview experience ^_^).

Then I have JLPT Lvl 3 exam on tomorrow. I've never done it before so I'm not exactly sure what to expect but I hope I get better overnight and be able to pass the exam. Have you guys done it before? What's it like? I still need to do some listening practise (lol listening is my worst area. sometimes it just flies by me and I don't get a word :S). My cousin did it before and he thinks I don't really need to study...but then again, he always gets good marks...

Speaking of my cousin, lucky him will get to see HYD2 on telly. Recently, I introduced him and my aunt to HYD and both of them like it, especially my aunt. Well perhaps it's because they both like Oguri Shun cos he was in Conan but still...even if they weren't Jun-baited like I was, liking HYD is a good thing ne? Surprisingly, I also found that my aunt was actually into watching the canto version of Gokusen in hongkong. lol she and I will definitely have a lot to discuss next time I see her hehe :)

My name is Fleur and I'm a new fan of Arashi (jun baited abt a month ago via HYD), so there's still many things I don't know about them *goes-off-to-read-more-interview-translations*

I'm actually Chinese (from HK) but came to Australia when I was little, so I'm fluent in English and can converse in Cantonese. I'm also learning Japanese but that's as far as it goes for me language-wise :S

I'm still new to vox...so bear with me :)

Hope I can come to know all other Arashi fans ^_^
